What we'll cover in this series:
Frequently Asked Questions
This course is designed for beginner to intermediate developers and doesn't require any previous knowledge of the software tools used in the course. That said, basic familiarity with CSS and PHP, along with some experience customizing themes will help you get the most out of the course.
Yes. Because we're teaching you to deploy a site from a local development environment to a live site, you'll need a basic hosting account to put your new skills to use. For this course, we use DreamPress 2, a managed WordPress hosting service by Dreamhost (discounts offered during course to attendees).
If you develop a lot of WordPress sites, either for yourself or for your clients, and have a lot of repetitive tasks as part of this process that you're not sure how to automate, this course is for you!
These webinars were originally presented to a live audience and are now available to you as a replay.
Each webinar is approximately 90 minutes.
Since these webinars are replays, there is not the opportunity to ask live questions, however our original audience asked TONS of great questions so chances are high we'll answer the questions you're thinking of. 🙂
Good news! You can watch the courses as many times as you want for a full year from purchase.
There are no other costs required to benefit from this course.
If you want to follow along with the course exactly as we do, you'll want a copy of DesktopServer Premium and Utility Pro (Professional License) and a DreamPress 2 hosting account (or comparable). These aren't required, but we'll provide discount codes for each during the course should you want to use them.
I welcome your questions! If you come up with a really good one, I'll add it to the FAQs here. 😉
